In August, the airline will launch direct flights from Malaga to San Sebastian. This is a weekly flight every Sunday, with prices from 69 euros each way
Iberia together with Turismo y Planificación la Costa del Sol, and in coordination with Turismo Andaluz and Ayuntamiento de Málaga, will collaborate this summer to promote national tourism. In this sense, they are working together to improve connectivity to our destination.
As well as one of the main results of this joint work, the airline has announced that on Sunday 9th August it will launch direct flights Malaga - San Sebastian, with a weekly frequency that will operate every Sunday in August.
The departure from Malaga will be at 11:20 with arrival in San Sebastian at 13:00. And from Hondarribia the flights to Malaga will take off at 14:00 with arrival at 15:50.
These flights will be operated by Iberia with Airbus A319 aircraft, and are in addition to the program that Iberia and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum will offer this summer between Malaga and Madrid, which also allows the best connections from Malaga to nearly 50 other destinations in Europe.
To promote these flights, Iberia has launched a very competitive fare structure, with prices as low as 69 euros per leg and other fare levels below 100 euros per leg (69, 78, 89 and 100 euros).
Connectivity
One of the main objectives of Tourism Costa del Sol is to promote connectivity, a key element in the tourist activity for which the entity has a specific department of Air Connectivity. The priorities of this strategy are to mature the relationships with the companies that will allow the Costa del Sol to become one of the preferred destinations when opening new routes.
