As part of an extensive package of measures, the client will be able to visit the spaces virtually and visualize the different formats on their devices.
NH Hotel Group has redesigned its proposals in the area of meetings and events in its hotels, reviewing nearly 700 standards and promoting the digitalization of its services, to facilitate social distancing and ensure hygiene and safety standards in spaces for the MICE segment.
The responses of more than 1,000 specialists in this industry, indications from experts in inspection, analysis and certification, as well as recommendations from the World Health Organization and local authorities have been taken into account.
Digitisation
In the results obtained in the survey carried out by the Group, one of the most demanded aspects was the digitalization and innovation of services. In this sense, the group offers different technological innovations aimed at facilitating the virtual planning of events: the client will be able to take a virtual tour of the spaces, choose the assembly according to their needs and visualize it from their electronic devices, as well as receive personalized advice at all times.
In addition to the implementation of the "Hybrid Hospitality" concept, which combines face-to-face and online meetings with technology applied to them, other aspects have been reviewed such as the adjustment of Wi-Fi bandwidth in order to cover the demand for large online meetings, conferences and webinars.
Updated cleaning and disinfection protocols
NH Hotel Group and SGS announced their collaboration. Among some of the initiatives, meeting rooms and rest areas are disinfected after each event and during breaks, using specific products and cleaning techniques, in addition to new hygiene measures designed by Diversey. In addition, all materials used at any of the events and meetings, such as notebooks and pens, are disinfected before entering the hotel and are delivered to users in individual packaging.
New safety protocols for attendees
In order to avoid congestion in the common areas, the arrival and departure of large groups will be pre-scheduled. In addition, there will be hand sanitizer dispensers at each main entrance/exit to the meeting rooms and the check-in counters for meeting attendees will be protected with Plexiglas screens and located in areas that will help prevent crowding.
Catering
NH Hotel Group will request health certifications from its suppliers and a delivery process under strict control protocols. In the case of events, there will be menus and processes adapted to provide these services, with special attention to the organization of tables respecting social distancing measures and with the buffet offer presented in individual packaged portions.
