The Anantara Villa Padierna Palace hotel reopens its doors this Friday with a new proposal of experiences to reconnect its guests with the destination this summer season.
The establishment, which is located three minutes from the beach and has its own beach club, will display 1,200 works of art in the different areas of the resort and in its 132 rooms, suites and pool villas.
In addition, the resort is surrounded by three golf courses and features a children's club, tennis and paddle tennis club, six different restaurants and the best spa in Spain according to the 'World Spa Awards 2019', with 2,000 square metres of Roman baths.
The hotel will host a series of events throughout the summer months including live outdoor concerts, art workshops, film nights and beachfront dinners with two-Michelin-starred chef Paco Roncero.
The contemporary art gallery at the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace begins this Friday with the various exhibitions that will take place throughout the season. The current exhibition is by Tom Anholt, Igor Moritz, Sola Olulode and Ivana de Vivanco in Trace Evidence.
Wider offer for families
The hotel has created a list of new experiences for this year to reconnect guests with the destination; with traditions, flavours, rituals and moments with a 'Mindfulness' focus, to help guests unwind.
From a boat trip with meditation; a day with a local shepherd, enjoying a goat cheese workshop; a route through the old town of Marbella with a local photographer; electric bike tours with a meal at a local family's home; to adrenaline activities such as surfing, canoeing or playing polo, are some of the hotel's proposals.
As a novelty this year, the hotel has created a wider offer for all members of the family. From a stay in a private villa, cooking and golf lessons together, to relaxing massages for the parents or a romantic dinner for two while the children enjoy a room service and babysitting service in the room.
