Earlier this month, the Malaga-based event planning firm Makyre was commissioned to organize the party held on the occasion of the 1st edition of the International Air Show of Malaga. Held in the gardens of the city’s Alcazaba, Makyre chose the air show as the theme for the event.
Remote-controlled model aircraft flew over the gardens of the Alcazaba as guests arrived at the party. Large vases filled with sand from the beach and geraniums typically adorning the city’s balconies, and vinyl displays bearing the Picassian eye (Malaga being the artist’s birthplace) and the silhouette of a plane, gave the venue that special touch.
In addition to blue spots (representing the sky and sea), the ochre sand, and the purple and green of the flag of Malaga lent a special charm to the incomparable settings of this important monument.
Lastly, entertainment was provided by a flamenco group, livening up a party in which everything was carefully organized down to the last detail so as make the event a memorial experience.
