Barcelo La Bobadilla Organizes Caviar Tasting Sessions for its Guests at Riofrio

These caviar tasting sessions, which constitute a highly original activity for MICE groups, are organized for a minimum of 10 people on request. Likewise, the hotel offers individual clients a unique caviar experience, as done by Gordon Ramsay on The F Word. The experience starts with a guided tour of the whole farm, from the six month old sturgeons to the 20 year old adults, followed by an optional ultra sound in the water to check the maturity of the roe. Once the animal has been selected, it is taken to the farm’s laboratory for processing. The unique extraction process takes approximately 20 minutes and gives participants the opportunity to prepare and taste the purest, freshest caviar available. Once the roe has been extracted, the caviar is very carefully rinsed in ice cold water, salted and packed into original caviar tins before being matured for between three and four months, and delivered to an address of the participant’s choice.
