Pacific World, one of the world's leading global incoming and event management agencies, with a presence in more than 20 countries and 18 offices in Spain, has informed, in a recent press release dated September 1st, its imminent exit from the MICE industry with effect from November 2020.

This company, part of the giant TUI Destination Experiences, with more than 40,000 events held over the last decade, is listed as one of the leading companies in the global management of meetings, events, incentives and congresses worldwide. As they highlighted in their statement: "What has made Pacific World great is its people. The creativity, professionalism and inclusive culture of our teams has taken our clients' experiences to the next level. Our talented staff are not only smart event strategists; their skills also make them incredible business professionals.

Moreover, the company is confident that the MICE industry will recover in the medium term and leave the door open for a return, led by the passion and legacy of innovation of its teams, to recreate solutions for its clients in a renewed, adapted and innovative way.

At EPS, we can see that the effects of the coronavirus crisis on the events sector are devastating, as we were among the first to fall into the clutches of this tiny virus and will be among the last to emerge, but we will do so stronger and more motivated than ever.

The digital era is coming on strong, but events (especially in person) will never be able to disappear, as we are animals of habit and we love to socialise, meet, communicate, feel, experiment....

Come on! We have many events left to celebrate!
