b2b CEAV' to host networking days, round tables and training sessions
The Madrid International Tourism Trade Fair, Fitur 2021, will have a b2b space for business meetings between travel agents and suppliers at the fair. The new space will be organised by the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) with the aim of giving prominence to the travel agent, who will have a revalued role because the post-COVID traveller will ask for more advice.
The 'b2b CEAV' space will host a series of networking sessions and round tables between travel agents and tourism suppliers, for which an area with work stations will be set up. The agenda of meetings can be generated using 'Fitur Live Connect', a platform that puts participants in contact with each other at the fair to promote communication and meetings.
In the 'b2b CEAV' space, training sessions will also be held, with special emphasis on legal issues, such as updating legislative changes and package travel regulations, issues of concern to travel agencies for the future.
CEAV stresses the importance of this edition of Fitur, which "will mark the beginning of the recovery" of the tourism sector. "Fitur was the last public event to be held before the pandemic and we are very pleased that it is now the first to return, as it is a good time to bring together travel agencies and put us all to work on the revival of the sector," they add.
