Both the city and the Feria Valencia’s Convention & Exhibition Centre adapt perfectly to the needs of modern-day meeting and events.
In the last quarter of 2012, Feria Valencia’s Convention and Exhibition Centre demonstrated once again the versatility and functionality of its facilities on hosting the hundreds of delegates attending a new technologies seminar, featuring keynote speakers from leading multinationals such as Google, Buy VIP, Microsoft and IBM. Likewise, in November 2011, the centre was chosen as the venue for the 78th Congress of l’Union de Foires International (UFI), which was attended by 400 venue managers and event organizers from over 50 countries. UFI’s Director, Mr. Paul Woodward, pointed out that "both the city and Feria Valencia’s Convention and Exhibition Centre adapt perfectly to the needs of modern-day meeting and events."
With respect to 2012, the Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the 3rd edition of the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA) Congress 2012, with the participation of representatives from public administrations and financial institutions, as well as international managers. The centre also hosted the 8th National Congress of Large Families.
The organization of these events highlights the importance of the centre – which was opened in 2006 – featuring avant-garde architecture and multi-purpose facilities. All the centre’s function rooms are fully equipped with the cutting-edge technology required for world-class events. Distributed on four floors and with plenty of natural light, the centre’s facilities include 24 meeting rooms, two auditoria, direct access to the exhibition area, and the biggest landscaped plaza in Valencia.
