Already present in the UK, France, Germany and Italy, as well as Holland, USA, Hong Kong and Singapore, Universal WorldEvents has recently opened an office in Madrid.

Macarena Hidalgo has been appointed to the post of CEO to pilot the company's "landing" in the Spanish market. Hidalgo has a long track record in the meetings and event industry both in Spain and abroad. She was one of the pioneers in the business, setting up a company which she then sold to the American multinational Maritz.
In addition to building new relationships with local clients, Hidalgo will also manage Universal WorldEvents' international client portfolio. She is currently forming the team that will help her achieve established objectives and entering into talks with existing and potential clients.
