The team of TUI Spain's MICE division met from 16-18 March to analyze the market and plan the strategy for the next few years.
Ultramar Event Management, a company specializing in corporate MICE services, held its annual convention in Torremolinos, in the province of Malaga, from 16-18 March.
Lead by Ian Livesey, head of specialist business of TUI Travel PLC’s Spanish Accommodation & Destinations Division, Ultramar Event Management has commenced a new stage, after the successful completion of the merger with Hotelbeds.
In line with the philosophy that the company transmits daily to its clients, Ultramar Event Management held a creative meeting in which all team members were encouraged to participate actively in workshops addressing the products and services the company plans to market shortly.
During 2009, Ultramar Event Management marketed two innovative products: "Convention Express", based on economic and environmental efficiency; and "Meeting Colours", a colour based initiative for determining the peculiarities of each event or convention.
