The European University of Madrid (UEM) and the business association OPC Madrid have renewed their collaboration agreement in the field of MICE management.

The renewed agreement will allow the European University of Madrid to offer the 8th edition of the Master in MICE and PCO Management, a postgraduate programme in event management, with the full support of the meetings and event industry. This year, the master programme will be official due to the fact that it has been totally adapted to the new EEES (European Higher Education Area).

The course, which is given at IEDE, the Business School of the European University of Madrid, located on the Moraleja Campus, will have a high practical content and will be completely adapted to the current needs of the market. Under the guidance of experts and trade professionals, students taking the course will participate in the organization of the 6th edition of CONGREUEM, the UEM’s annual MICE event, design a series of projects, such as tenders for international congresses, organize and manage the reception of students from the German university BITS during the Events Exchange Week Diploma, and collaborate in the elaboration of an accessibility manual for meetings with staff from the consultancy firm Cuatropi.

OPC Madrid’s collaboration in this master programme is one of its mainstays, since the association provides the course with a more real market-orientated perspective, as well as expert teachers and a wide range of logistic and professional support in its design.
