The event company uses elements such as ebikes, actors, catamaran trips and Tapas Rally in these urban gymkhanas powered by Moove technology.
Since last January, Exploramas has organized 14 Enigma iPads, an urban gymkhana featuring surprises, fun and games, which has allowed nearly 2,000 people to discover Barcelona.
In September 2013, Exploramas started to use Moove technology in some of its urban experiences. "We’ve gone that bit further," explained Elke Bührer, manager of Exploramas Barcelona, "widening the scope of these gymkhanas to include other experiences."
In this respect, during this year Exploramas has incorporated other elements, such as electric vehicles, character actors, tapas tours, catamaran trips and even tours of Camp Nou, into Enigma iPad.
"This activity offers many possibilities," said Bührer, before describing the experience as "a magnificent way of getting to know the destination."
In 2014, the largest group to participate in Enigma iPad has been 580 employees of a multinational who discovered Barcelona through this experience.
The Gothic Quarter, Boqueria Market, the Sagrada Familia, and Casa Batllo are just some of the attractions included in this activity, which has a number of routes to choose from. "In reality, we design a new experience for each route," said Bührer. "The Modernist Route through the Eixample isn’t the same as the Tapas Rally option."
Furthermore, the use of ebikes or electric scooters "allows us to organize the activity from a different perspective, enlarging the game map without effecting timing."
Surprises, teamwork and fun are the three key elements of Enigma iPad, in which 161 teams have participated in 2014. "The incorporation of additional elements, such as character actors and creative, cultural and gastronomic tests and challenges, in the routes substantially improves the experience for the participants."
Exploramas used Moove technology for the first time in an event in Princeton (EE.UU.). "We travelled there on request of a client who approached us for our long track record in organizing these urban experiences whatever the destination," said Bührer, who managed the event with Fabio Lomeña.
