From 21-22 September, PortAventura Convention Centre hosted the Tupperware Jubilee Spain during a very important year for the company, since it is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The event, attended by 800 people, included the presentation of the company’s new corporate image “Confidence becomes you”, which puts the accent on Tupperware’s commitment to helping women to bring out their best, as well as that of the brand’s new products and its Autumn-Winter 2016/2017 catalogue. To give this presentation that wow factor, there was a show cooking session with the famous chef Julio Fernandez Quintero, with one Michelin star, who prepared several dishes with the new Micro Urban, a compact microwave oven designed to cover the needs of the new types of households, including singles and couples and the younger generations such as the Millennials.
The convention also featured a welcome gala, a product launch day, and recognitions for good work carried in the spacious Alexandria function room of the PortAventura Convention Centre, with over 2,000sqm of facilities and a maximum ceiling height of 7m, which allow for any type of spectacular layout, such as those used by Tupperware. The dinner on the second night took place in La Cantina, the Mexico zone of PortAventura Park especially opened for the occasion. This spacious venue is capable of hosting large dinners, with 800 guests on this occasion. The event ended with an awards ceremony, a fancy dress competition, and a special show.
The participants stayed at the Gold River and Mansión de Lucy Hoteles, of which they had exclusive use.
