TUI España, which has been chosen as the official agency for incoming tourists at the Expo Zaragoza 2008, hopes to offer this destination to more than two million clients.
TUI España has signed an agreement with the organisers of the EXPO Zaragoza to become the event’s official agency. In virtue of this agreement, TUI España will be able to offer entrance tickets and packages for the international exhibition through all its distribution channels, and to promote Zaragoza as a destination among its main European clients.
The agreement forms a part of TUI España’s strategic objectives keyed to boosting city tourism in 2008.
In the words of Delfi Torns, director general of Ultramar Express Event Management, “A leading company like TUI España ought to be present at large international events held in Spain. This on its own is sufficient reason to offer EXPO Zaragoza 2008 our support.”
Moreover, Torns adds that it is a wonderful opportunity for “positioning our company as a benchmark in a city that is currently undergoing a complete transformation, with the building of hotels and modern congress and convention facilities in an exceptional setting and in the framework of environmental sustainability.”
This collaboration with the city and its main agents will allow TUI España to include Zaragoza in its destination portfolio for corporate events, congresses and conventions.
