From Toruń to Granada: our group of Polish students

We are used to receiving groups of students from all over the world, but each of them leaves a special mark on us. On 29 April, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Toruń, a city located in the north of Poland. All of them are Spanish students from a prestigious Polish academy, whose director decided to organize a language stay so they could put into practice what they are learning, and this has been the result!

Daytrips in Granada

During their 10-day stay, our Polish students made the most of their time, visiting the city and province’s main attractions.

Daytrip to the Alpujarras

They spent an entire day discovering some of the most picturesque villages in the Granada mountains (Lanjarón, Pampaneira, Trevélez and Capileira), accompanied by an experienced guide.

Guided tour of the centre of Granada, the Realejo district and the Albaicín

Two days of their stay were dedicated to exploring Granada, walking through its centre and two of its main neighbourhoods. There, they discovered some of the city’s most breathtaking views, while learning about its history and culture.

Daytrip to the Tropical Coast

A visit to the seaside was a must! Making the most of the good weather, they visited a number of towns on the Costa Tropical, the coast of Granada, including Almunecar, Nerja and its caves, and Frigiliana, a beautiful village!

Visit to the Alhambra and the Generalife

And, of course, a visit to the Alhambra and the Generalife, the most important monument in the province and one of the most visited in Spain, was a must.

Spanish classes and culture workshop

The main reason for their trip to Granada was ‘to practice Spanish’. Needless to say, in addition to all the aforementioned activities, the students attended Spanish classes at IMSOL in the morning. They also attended a culture workshop, which served as a theoretical basis for everything they had learned during the daytrips and visits.

After completing the course, they received a Certificate of Attendance.

We sincerely hope they had a pleasant time, and we appreciate their sympathy and the affection that they have shown us throughout their stay! We hope to see them again very soon.
