The majority of regulatory councils and wineries representing Spain's main wine growing regions will be attending the fair from 12-14 November.

This coming November, the Torremolinos Congress and Tradeshow Centre will be hosting some of the Spanish wine industry's leading exponents. The 16th edition of the Wine and Designation of Origin will once again give professionals and amateurs the opportunity to get to know the latest trends in the wine market, both as regards management and production, as well as its interrelationship with gastronomy and wine appreciation.

From 12-14 November, the fair will bring together the majority of regulatory councils and wineries of Spain's main wine growing regions, with the accent on Andalusian designations of origin: Montilla-Moriles, Jerez-Xeres-Sherry, Manzanilla de Sanlucar and Vinagre de Jerez, Condado de Huelva and Málaga y Sierras de Málaga y Pasas de Málaga.

During the fair, eminent speakers and renowned sommeliers will be sharing their knowledge and expertise during the 3rd Andalusian Gastronomic Winemaking Course, organized by the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), in which the Andalusian designations of origin will be representing the excellence of the Spanish wine industry.

Among the prestigious professionals actively taking part in the 12th edition of the Wine Fair, a special mention must be given to Andrea Alonso, Golden Nose 2010 and head of Makro Wineries in Alicante, who personifies the increasingly more important role played by women sommeliers worldwide.
