The show’s organizers have recently announced the line up of industry experts who will be judging this year’s EIBTM Technology Watch.
The EIBTM Technology Watch is now the most high profile and longest running award recognition scheme for innovation in the sector worldwide and this year’s expert judging panel will be looking to award an innovative company for their pioneering technology solutions which will make a significant impact on the industry.
The 2012 panel of industry experts, chaired by Corbin Ball, of Corbin Ball Associates, who was recently voted "one of the 25 most influential people in the meetings industry", will include Michelle Bruno, President of Bruno Group Signature Events, Paul Hussey, Business Development Director of BSI Meetings and Events; Ruud W. Janssen, Marketing Entrepreneur of TNOC, Martin Sirk, CEO of ICCA, Bruce MacMillan, former CEO and President of MPI, and new addition, Deborah Sexton, President and CEO of PCMA.
Deborah Sexton commented: "Captivating the minds of a generation of attendees who have grown up texting and surfing the web is now a challenge for everyone in the meetings and events industry; exponentially increasing our need for innovative technology. The judging criteria for the EIBTM Technology Watch, also known as the "Meeting Industry Technology Oscars", are based on a number of aspects, including innovation and uniqueness, impact to the meetings industry as well as completeness of the product or service. The winner of the award will receive an exhibition stand within the Technology Village at EIBTM (valued at €3,000) to showcase their product to over 15,200 industry professionals expected to attend this year’s event.
