Thirty-one Mexican students visit FYCMA facilities and participate in talk on event management

Last Friday, the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) hosted a group of 31 Mexican students studying the postgraduate course Innovative Management and Tourism Companies and Institutions, organized by the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Malaga (UMA). The students got to know firsthand how events are managed thanks to a talk given by Yolanda de Aguilar, director of the centre, and Francisco Quereda, director of the Malaga Convention Bureau.

A group of 31 Mexican students taking part in a mobility programme coordinated by the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Malaga (UMA) visited the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre, in the framework of the postgraduate course Innovative Management and Tourism Companies and Institutions. This gave them the chance to get to know firsthand the centre’s facilities and learn about the key aspects of event organization and the characteristics of destinations specializing in business tourism.

This initiative forms part of an international mobility programme promoted by the Mexican Institute of Youth (IMJUVE) and the Mexican government of Quintana Roos, and geared to public university students, graduates and young entrepreneurs under 29.
