The Andalusian Gastronomic Group will be present in two of the show’s areas: Gastroarte and Speakers’ Corner.
Andalusia’s gastronomic offerings will be showcased at H&T thanks to the collaboration of Gastroarte (Andalusian Gastronomic Group), which will be participating in the show’s activities with a team of 30 experts in the agri-food industry, gastronomy and nutrition, with the aim of promoting the Mediterranean diet as the basis of the country’s culinary culture.
This group formed by 23 top Andalusian chefs – totalling seven Michelin stars – will dedicate each one of the show’s three days to a culinary theme related to the region: Sea, Kitchen Garden, and Countryside. These activities will be carried out in two of the show’s areas: Gastroarte, H&T’s main initiative, and Speakers’ Corner.
So, together with the members of Gastroarte, nationally and internationally renowned chefs – including Dani Garcia, Jose Carlos Garcia, Kisko Garcia, Diego del Rio, and Celia Jimenez – will give a number of cooking master classes (show cooking) featuring their proposals, discoveries and innovations. In addition, they will conduct a series of workshops and product tastings (wine, cheese and olive oil), as well as a delivering a number of culinary and scientific talks, among other things.
H&T will be held at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) from 17-19 March 2013.
