Thailand’s annual Tourism Festival and Travel Mart (TTM) 2008, scheduled to be held at the Challenger Hall of the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Exhibition Centre (Bangkok), from 5-8 June, 2008, is expecting a record year with the inclusion of exhibitors from Indonesia and Malaysia.

Already the biggest event in the country, the TTM 2008 will bring together 392 exhibitors, including hotels, travel agents, tour operators, adventure and eco-tourism suppliers, spa and wellness centres, airlines, entertainment companies, golf courses and associations, among others, and 487 buyers – up 33.2% on 2007 – from 62 countries.

The inclusion of both buyers and exhibitors from Indonesia and Malaysia will substantially enhance the appeal and value of attending the show for both trade professionals and consumers, alike. The areas of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) to be included are the provinces bordering the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea.

The organisers are expecting at least 150,000 people to attend the four-day event, generating an estimated 150 million baht, both directly and indirectly.
