The Spanish event and adventure agency has organized, in collaboration with DMC AIM Group, its first activity in the USA, an experience for a group of 120 employees of an international chemical firm.

The American town of Princeton (New Jersey) was the destination chosen for the first activity the Spanish firm Exploramas has organized abroad.

The prestigious DMC AIM Group partnered with Exploramas to organize a team building activity allowing 120 employees of an international chemical firm to discover part of the destination’s history and culture.

"This event, which is the first that we have organized in the States, has served to confirm yet again that our system works," said Manuel Araujo, director of Exploramas, when commenting on the effort that has gone into organizing the event so as to meet the expectations of the client and ensure the best possible experience for the participants.

Enigma iPad is a team-building activity combining a gymkhana with a treasure hunt, allowing the participants to discover the destination in an interactive fashion. Equipped with an iPad, they have to follow a number of itineraries during which they are expected to meet team challenges and solve enigmas.

Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga and Marbella are some of the destinations where Exploramas normally organizes its experiences. "In this case, what has changed has been the destination, but the work methods have remained unchanged," emphasized Araujo.

In this regard, "thorough planning, permanent direct communication with the client and an unlimited creative capacity are the three key factors that allow us to organize activities anywhere," continued Araujo.

In the case of Princeton, "we tied the experience in with the film A Beautiful Mind, which was filmed in the city and tells the story of the mathematician and Nobel Memorial Prize laureate in Economic Sciences John Nash."

The participants had to meet a number of challenges in several of the locations used in the film, searching for codes at the Princeton Public Library and getting to know some of the destination’s most emblematic streets and buildings.

"It has been an enormous challenge and we are delighted with the results of our first event in the States," said Araujo, "so much so that there is a possibility of repeating the experience soon with a larger group."

Exploramas is a Spanish firm with over 13 years of experience in the industry, specializing in the creation, design and organization of corporate team-building, adventure and CSR activities.
