From 1 November 2008, Tarik Harrak Medina is the new director general of the PYR Marbella Hotel, replacing Fernando Sanchez Tovar who has done a marvellous job of running the hotel since 1991.
Tarik Harrak started to work at the hotel as assistant director in 2001, subsequently occupying the post of subdirector. In 2005, he also took charge of the hotel’s business management department.

During this time, Tarik Harrak has attended all national and international tradeshows to promote the PYR Marbella Hotel in different market segments worldwide.
Improving the hotel’s position in national and international markets, laying the accent on the segments related to group travel, meetings and incentives, features among his most immediate objectives. Another goal is to address the disequilibrium between summer occupancy levels and those of the rest of the year by targeting the golf tourism market, a type of client with whom he is very familiar due to the hotel’s strategic location in an area with a large number of world-class golf courses.
The PYR Marbella Hotel, which has 319 spacious apartments, is located in the centre of Puerto Banus, surrounded by prestigious international boutiques and leisure attractions.
