New York's emblematic Waldorf Astoria was chosen as the venue for the gala dinner of Catalana Occidente's convention.
Nearly 1,000 guests enjoyed a memorable evening at one of New York's most well-known hotels. The mythical Waldorf Astoria's Grand Ballroom hosted a wonderful gala dinner, including an awards ceremony.
Talisman Group designed a bespoke event with a New Yorker theme. In addition to installing a spectacular stage, including structures covered with lycra and a LED backdrop, the company also installed a 6x4m screen and an 18,000 lumen projector. Entertainment was supplied by one of the city's gospel groups and the event ended with a balloon release.
One of the other outstanding moments of the convention was the closing ceremony dinner held at the Natural History Museum of New York, in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, famous for the spectacular model of a blue whale suspended from the ceiling. Lighting and live music did the rest.
