The Taberna Flamenca has recently joined the Jerez Convention Bureau (JCB). With this new membership, the bureau now offers among its many resources one of the city’s most unique attractions: the flamenco tablaos.
Located in the historic centre of Jerez, next to the 14th century Gothic church of Santiago del Real, the Taberna Flamenca has a venue seating 120 people, where the greatest variety of flamenco shows in the city are performed from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
Since 1995, the Taberna’s restaurant offers menus including the area’s typical dishes, as well as traditional Spanish cooking, depending of the season.
Jose Montoya, manager of the tablao, has appreciated the advantages of belonging to the convention bureau and contributing to the promotion of the city as a MICE destination with the essence of the art of flamenco.
The Taberna’s first participation as member of the JCB will consist in organizing a welcome dinner for a group of German journalists, invited by the City Council and the airline Air Berlin, scheduled to be held on 9 July.
