Gestió i Serveis Trade Center S.A. (GIS) invited the country's top PCOs to visit the Toledo Congress Centre and the city.
From 5-6 April, 16 of Spain's most important professional congress organisers meet in Toledo to get to know firsthand the new congress centre and the "City of the Three Cultures".
In addition to touring the congress centre, the participants visited los Cigarrales, strolled through the city's historical centre, and participated at the city hall in the roundtable Toledo. Palacio y ciudad with Milagros Tolon, head of the department of tourism. During the roundtable, the representative of the 16 PCOs offered their opinions about how the city could resolve problems and provides all that is necessary for hosting congresses and corporate events.
The city's excellent position in the market and its unbeatable location, close to Madrid, was stressed, although the accent was also placed on the importance of obtaining support from public institutions and the region's suppliers. The decision to locate the congress centre in Toledo's historical centre, together with the city's leisure and cultural activities, was also applauded by those present.
With this project, Gestió i Serveis Trade Center, a Catalonia-based service company dedicated to managing real estate and hotel projects, as well as the company responsible for managing Barcelona's World Trade Center, consolidates its position as a prime mover in the Spanish congress market.
