On 22 February, the members of SpainDMCs’ Madrid Chapter met at the new Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel to review the different actions being carried out by this chapter and those that the association is implementing on a national level. Among other matters, the last meetings held with local, regional and national tourist boards and other associations related to the industry were discussed.
Several DMCs that have applied to become members of the association – and whose applications will be ratified at the next general assembly to be held during this year’s first quarter – were allowed to attend as guests.
After lunch courtesy of the hotel, the framework agreement between SpainDMCs and Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel was signed. By virtue of this agreement, the Eurostars Madrid Tower names the association preferred supplier, and includes a series of secondary agreements for real and loyal collaboration, in which the hotel acknowledges the important marketing effort of the members of SpainDMCs, and the association’s status as one of the MICE industry’s preferential and privileged distribution channels.
