Sony Commissions Talisman to Organize its Annual Convention

As in previous years, the multinational Sony recently commissioned Talisman Group to organize its annual distributor convention. Nearly a thousand trade professionals attended the event held in Corunna so get to know the latest trends in the industry.



Sony has again shown its capacity for innovation and leadership before nearly 1,000 distributors who attended the national convention held in Corunna at the end of February. The organizers used a team of 50 professionals to design and stage the week-long convention in tune with Sony’s communication needs.



Talisman Group was commissioned to organize the whole convention, including leisure activities, the choice of suitable venues for work sessions, and accommodation management. The company’s travel and incentive department arranged the arrivals, accommodation, and transfers before, during and after the event of distributors from all over Spain. Likewise, the company organized the dinners programmed during the convention.



Talisman Group’s audiovisual department videoed the event, while the graphic design department handled the indoor and outdoor decoration of PALEXCO (Corunna Exhibition Centre), and the creative and production department managed the content of the sessions held during the week, as well as adapting the interactive voting systems used during the convention.



The work sessions held in the exhibition centre’s main hall had special requirements, which were met using the latest generation of ENCORE projection screen technology, employing a 20x6m screen. In addition to the main hall, there were four other halls for showcasing Sony’s different ranges of products.



Talisman Group also designed and fitted out a 700m2 product exhibition hall, where Sony’s showcased its latest products, such as the new BRAVIA range incorporating MOTION FLOW 200 Hz technology, Sountina speakers, the XB headphone range, the incorporation of Blu-ray in BRAVIA Theatre systems, the new Vaio P Series computers, the Cyber-Shot cameras, and its latest generation of Walkmans, among others.
