Sono sponsors congress at Madrid’s Circo Price Theatre as audiovisual service provider

In collaboration with the event agency El Ser Creativo, Sono sponsored the last edition of the congress, handling A/V equipment and technical staging. The central stage featured a cube formed by four 5x3m projection screens that were used to transmit the different video signals: staging, videos, presentations, and images. To this end, Sono installed and managed four 14,000 lumen Christie Roadster projectors and a Barco Folsom Encore presentation system.

During two days, from 13-14 October, 21 national and international experts expounded their theories and knowledge in different fields of social relevance, such as education, creativity, innovation, and technology at Madrid’s Circo Price Theatre. In order to eliminate language barriers and ensure the accessibility of the congress’ programme, Sono integrated a simultaneous translation system with 1,000 digital receivers and two booths (Spanish-English and English-Spanish).

The sound system was designed to fulfill the needs of the venue, using a L’Acoustics Kiva system with a 32-channel Digico SD8 mixing desk, 12 Shure wireless microphones, 10 headset microphones for the presenter and speakers, and two back-up handheld microphones.

Sono was also commissioned to handle lighting, truss structures and A/V equipment for the press centre.

Mentes Brillantes has become a benchmark congress in the field of social innovation. Around 1,000 people attended the conferences of 7th edition, and many others followed the proceedings via video streaming, available all over the world.
