Over 200 people participated in the two-day event featuring the keynotes of seven national and international experts on orthodontic excellence and technology.
From 23-24 September, Barcelona’s W Hotel, an emblematic five-star sea-front property, hosted the 2nd annual European Carriere Symposium, organized by Henry Schein Orthodontics (HSO) and the agency Global Pro Events, which commissioned Sono to provide A/V services.
Sono handled the event’s technical production, A/V and lighting equipment rental, assembly, filming, broadcasting, and live staging.
As a backdrop, Sono installed a giant (7.5x4m) 3.9mm LED display which allowed the speakers to project high-quality examples of orthodontics, infographics, and other content. Thanks to a Folsom content management system, combined with a PDS 902 processor, different sources of video, PC, and live broadcasting could be projected alternately, employing diverse PiP (Picture in Picture) resources.
What was essential at this international congress, attended by delegates from 20 countries, was the simultaneous translation system implemented by Sono, with two cabins and 100 digital receivers.
Sono also handled the sound and lighting and supplied a number of accessories such as a design lectern, decorative lateral panels, and additional displays.
