Sono provides sound equipment and technical assistance for fourth season of choir competition on TV3

Sono used Shure microphones in order to offer the best quality sound with a total of 28 frequencies.



TV3’s programme ‘Oh Happy Day’ is a competition for choirs with up to 12 members. The challenge was to achieve perfect sound for up to 28 people, including the choirs, judges and presenter.



As a specialist in A/V services for TV programmes, Sono supplied the professional microphones and technical support. So as to ensure the necessary quality, the firm used Shure ULXD4 wireless microphones, with a total of 28 frequencies, and a ULX-D digital wireless system, DPA headset microphones and handheld microphones. L’Acoustics 108P and BB15P equipment was also used.



Sono provided technical assistance and support at the 10 shows that were broadcast live from TV3’s studio, plus the recording of a special St George’s Day programme and the final show. Furthermore, the firm also provided technical assistance at the four-day casting sessions held at the AC Forum Hotel in Barcelona.
