Two hundred of SEAT’s sales and post-sales specialists from 25 countries on three continents competed for the Top Seat People awards for professional excellence. As in previous editions, Sono was commissioned to provide all the event’s audiovisual services: technical production, A/V equipment rental and deployment, live coverage and content creation.
The two-day event was held at different venues in Barcelona.

For the technical briefing sessions and the competition, the venue was equipped with several 80” displays, laptops, sound systems, lighting and simultaneous translation equipment. For the live broadcasting of the event a radio link was used so as not to hinder the proceedings.

Filming the arrival of the participants with a drone, obtaining spectacular aerial images of the cocktail party and the correfocs show in the castle gardens.
In the function room used for the ceremony, the stage featured a giant 8x3m LED display. Thank to its 3.9mm pixel pitch, the Absen A3 Pro display provided high-quality images even close up, thereby being an ideal choice for events of this type.
Another of the noteworthy aspects of the SEAT event was its lighting. Coloured lights were used outside the castle to illuminate the gardens, façade and pond. Inside, the gala featured a variety of lighting formats depending on the moment of the ceremony.
Such a complex event with a multitude of sound sources required a cutting-edge sound system. To this end, Sono employed the latest L’Acoustics X12 combined with 108p and Sb18.
Sono also handled the creation of audiovisual content and graphics (videos, curtains, keynotes, etc.), as well as the filming and edition of the event’s summary videos. Some of the footage had to be edited in situ so as to be able to screen a summary of the technical sessions, including drone footage shot 30min before, at the award ceremony.
