On 29 June, the 6th edition of the Eventoplus Awards Ceremony was held at the Santiago Bernabeu football stadium in Madrid.
The Eventoplus Awards, the first of their kind in Spain, acknowledge the year's most outstanding initiatives in the meetings and event industry, giving awards both to events and their different elements.
Since the first edition, held in 2006, SONO has presented a number of projects in different categories. And this year, several of the company's 2010 projects were in the running.
At the ceremony held on 29 June, SONO was awarded the Prize for the Best Technical Setup for its participation in the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Shanghai 2010.
It is important to note that, given the size of the project and its global impact, the Spanish Pavilion was given a special prize, which was collected by the pavilion's commissioner.
