Last February, SONO handled the AV installation and content production for the exhibition spaces of the Administration Pavilion and a section of the tunnels of the San Pau Modernist Complex.
SONO was commissioned to design the audiovisual project and supply all necessary equipment, in addition to video production, multi-touch interactive production and control system programming.
Technology employed:
- A 3x3m video wall, comprising nine ultra-slim frame monitors for displaying a presentation video about the history of Sant Pau Hospital and the Modernist Complex.
- An interactive 100" touch panel – comprising four 50" ultra slim frame monitors and a controller for multiple users – suitable for multi-touch actions (dragging, zoom in, zoom out, etc), for presenting the centre’s values, the new hospital, and the people involved in the history of Sant Pau.
- Double projection for one of the tunnels communicating the complex’s different pavilions. A real-size projection of a series of characters who move around the area, evoking the former hospital in the centre.
- A centralized control system for the audiovisual equipment, via a tablet with an app allowing full control over the installed equipment (turn-on, turn-off, configuration, language selection, etc).
