In mid-April, the Roca Madrid Gallery was opened at the company's flagship building, offering visitors a unique brand experience.
At the Roca Madrid Gallery, showcasing some of the brand's most innovative products, visitors will be treated to a unique brand experience, in addition to cultural events including conferences, debates and exhibitions.
Located in calle Jose Abascal 57, the 1,200sqm showroom is distributed on two floors. Roca commissioned Estudio Lamela to redesign the venue, resulting in a large showcase open to the city.
Equipped with innovative technology and tools allowing visitors to interact with the building and experience the brand, the interior is both interactive and singular.
SONO has actively collaborated in the audiovisual design and installation project, installing the following equipment: 29 online monitors using Fluxus; audio systems controlled by sensors; 15" screens with an integrated player; two 2x2m videowalls; 46" Samsung monitors; a meeting room with videoconferencing equipment and a special projection room with a 10x5m screen, six 6,000 lumen projectors and Watchout video management technology.

All the aforementioned equipment is controlled by the Creston system, while lighting and devices are controlled by the Medialon system.
Lastly, a 30sqm screen comprising 6mm LEDs has been installed on the building façade, facing the street, on which "Rituals" (a video showing bathing rituals) is screened.
Over the next few months, Roca Madrid Gallery will host a number of free temporary exhibitions: "Building the city" (revolving round the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards); "Aral. A lost sea" (curated by Isabel Coixet, the director of homonymous documentary); and "The bath, a retrospective review of its history" (reviewing the evolution of bathrooms and their importance to society), among others.
