With some 100 exhibitors, Evento Days took place from 1-2 July at IFEMA (Madrid), during which near on 1,800 trade visitors made the most of one and half days of inspiration and networking, while discovering the industry’s latest developments and trends.
Sono and Digalix combined their talent to design a stand with a strong focus on technology. Under the slogan #emocionatech, the two firms created a multi-display stand, whose interactivity and social media integration – two key factors for audience engagement and creating an experiential event – attracted the attention of the public.
The main screen, consisting of a 5x3m Absen A3 LED wall display served as an interactive photocall. Using Kinect technology, this display detected the presence of visitors and placed a frame display in their hands. Once everyone was in place, the app began a countdown before taking a photo that was then posted in Twitter with the hashtag #emocionatech.
The activity of the hashtag was monitored on another Absen A3 LED wall display (this time measuring 3x3m), facing the show floor. The spectacular resolution of this display with a pixel pitch of only 3.9mm and the high contrast of its colours make it an ideal choice for screening texts, providing perfect definition and legibility.
But the interactivity did not end there. The stand’s interior featured an XTable, an interactive multi-touch table display (with over 50 simultaneous touch points) that makes it possible to execute ad hoc customizable interactive apps with a multitude of possibilities.
The public’s interactions with the XTable could also be followed in real time on a large-format 95" Samsung LED display, which stands out for its sharp image and the ease with which it can be transported and installed due to its lightness.
With this intervention and the collaboration of Digalix, Sono has consolidated its position as an audiovisual partner for event agencies and planners.
