From 4-5 September 2008, the Training and Business Centre of Buenas Aires will be holding the 2008 edition of the Business Updating Workshops, geared to SME directors, at the city’s Hilton Hotel. Regarded as one of the most specialised events for companies belonging to the service, business, industrial and agricultural sectors, the workshops have been attended by over 8,000 entrepreneurs since being organised for the first time. Over 600 directors are expected to attend this year’s edition.
The Business Updating Workshops provide directors with specific tools and new approaches in order to help them to improve productivity, motivate their employees, and master business organisation, consolidating profits and business criteria and vision.
The main topics of the sessions include management capacity, the power of leadership, organisation and productivity, wage policy, protecting the advantages of the family business, motivating your children and employees, how to identify the maximum value of your business, and the power of accomplishment.
During the event, a number of issues will be addressed, including how to turn current knowledge to your competitive advantage, how to recreate your company’s vision, how to recuperate the passion for doing business, how to surpass current limitations, how to identify differences in the new generations, and how to delegate effectively, among others.
These issues will be presented by a number of national and international specialists, featuring Lluis Navarro Baquero (Spain), Renato Bernhoeft (Brazil), Jose Maria Quiros (Argentina), Edward Rodriguez (USA), Claudio Flores (Argentina), and Juan Jose Goñi Zabala (Spain).
