Sixt’s Spanish fleet now features Citroën DS3 and DS5, two versions of the French carmaker’s most high performance line.
Historically, Citroën’s DS line has been associated with one of the legends of 20th century motor racing. The Citroën DS, known in Spain as the "Shark", was introduced on 5 October 1955 at the Paris Motor Show, orders for the first day totalling over 12,000. The groundbreaking technological innovations introduced by the Citroën DS as regards safety and equipment, together with its unique and advanced design for the time, converted the car into one of the major milestones in automotive history the world over.
Sixt’s fleet now features the new DS3 and the DS5, two of the French make’s most high performance models. With these new additions, Sixt’s fleet now includes three French makes, all of which have factories in Spain. As is the norm at Sixt, both the DS3 and the DS5 come fully equipped.
Estanislao de Mata, CEO of Sixt in Spain: "For Sixt, it’s important to include in our offerings a make like Citroën, which has a factory in Spain. With the incorporation of the DS3 and DS5, we’ve reinforced the high performance segment of our rental fleet."
