This year, Sixt – the leading car rental firm in Germany and one of the most important in the world – will be offering clients several Nissan models, specifically the popular Qashqai and Juke.
The version of Qashqai model that Sixt has acquired for its Spanish car rental fleet is the best equipped of this Nissan model. In particular, the Qashqai Tekna Sport includes Nissan Connect® 3D Satellite Navigation with a 5.8" colour touch screen, Bluetooth and USB port. As regards comfort, the Qashqai is equipped with dual zone climate control, front and rear electric windows, fog lamps and automatic headlamps, refrigerated glove compartment, panoramic glass roof, rain sensor, reach adjustable steering wheel with cruise control, speed limiter and audio controls, and CD, MP3 and six speakers.
The Qashqai and Juke models incorporate the most advanced safety systems: ABS, EBD, BA and EPS technology. The version of the Juke model acquired by Sixt is the Tekna Premium 4x2 with a 117 or 110hp 1.6 dci engine. This version’s equipment, which is very similar to that of the Qashqai, is top-end, offering the high level of comfort required to form a part of Sixt’s fleet.
Although Sixt’s Spanish fleet includes premium makes, such as BMW, Mini, Audi, Mercedes and Porsche, the German firm also offers middle-range vehicles, such as Nissan, geared to the tourism market.
In this respect, it is important to remember that 55% of Sixt’s fleet caters to the premium market, while 31.5% of the vehicles are BMWs or Minis, 14% Mercedes, and 10% Audis.
Estanislao de Mata, CEO of Sixt in Spain: "With the incorporation of Nissan, the number of makes comprising our fleet has been increased. The enormous popularity of the Qashqai and Juke models in Spain suggests that they will be exceedingly popular with our clients."
