The opening ceremony of this year's edition of SICAB, scheduled for 25 November 2008, will by presided over by HRH Princess Elena, Honorary President of the Seville horse show since 1991.
HRH Princess Elena, Honorary President of SICAB since 1991, will be travelling to Seville for the official opening of the horse show, to be held at 8pm on 25 November together with “Illustrious Horses”, a Spanish horse extravaganza in which a large number of experts from Italy, France and, of course, Mexico and Spain will be participating.
The show’s 18th edition will be paying tribute to Mexico, with a strong turnout of Mexican breeders, as well as folklore and riding exhibitions scheduled for 30 November.
There will be 1,114 horses, 506 of which will participate in the final of the prestigious Spanish Thoroughbred Championship, and the rest in competitions, shows, exhibitions, etc. The show will occupy all of FIBES’ facilities.
