Together with four companies linked to the world of flamenco music and Extenda, an agency belonging to Andalusia’s Regional Department of Tourism, Commerce and Sports, representatives from Seville’s Museum of Flamenco Dancing were in the States on a promotional tour from 14-17 May.
Los Angeles and New York
During the trip, the Andalusian delegation, of which Cedecom – the Malaga-based audio-visual production company – also formed a part, held 88 meetings in Los Angeles and New York with American businessmen and institutions from the states of Florida, Arizona, New York and California.
Future promotional trips
The Regional Department of Tourism has revealed that it plans to organise a promotional trip to Japan sometime at the end of the year, and a special presentation at the 2008 edition of the Flamenco Festival held in the States.
