Seville is all set to host the Meetings & Incentive Travel Market (MITM), a hosted buyer driven MICE event supported by the Seville Convention Bureau.
From 2-4 December, the 17th edition of the MITM Euromed, Meetings & Incentive Travel Market, organized by GSAR Marketing, will take place at the TRH Alcora Hotel.
This international MICE event is based on pre-scheduled appointments, with the participation of 60 international buyers mostly from Europe, and another 60 service providers specializing in the MICE industry from different Spanish cities, along with a number of associate companies of the Seville Congress and Convention Bureau.
The city and province of Seville have been chosen to host an event featuring some of the top international meeting and event organizers with an interest in Spain in general, and particularly Seville, as a destination that of late has taken centre stage in the international market. It is important to mention that in ICCA’s last city ranking, Seville has made it into the exclusive club of the top 100 international MICE destinations.
Seville’s current popularity as an international meeting and event destination is due to a number of competitive factors such as its excellent brand image, unique cuisine, good connections, and the hospitality and friendliness of the locals, in addition to the city’s rich history full of important cultural milestones whose legacy includes some of Spain’s most outstanding monuments, such as the Reales Alcazares, the Cathedral, the Archive of the Indies, all World Heritage Sites, and over 300 buildings declared assets of cultural interest.
