Seville's Exhibition and Congress Centre (FIBES) has a long track record in organizing and staging large governmental and international events with a wide-reaching coverage in the press. Some of the events that the centre has hosted over the last few years include the 2002 European Summit, the Informal Meeting of NATO Heads of State in 2007, and the 33rd UNESCO World Heritage Annual Meeting from 20-30 June 2009, among many others.

The success of these international events, both on an organizational and staging level, has helped to position FIBES as one the world’s most important large meeting and congress venues.

Along these lines, FIBES is currently in expanding, since the marketing of the centre’s new modern auditorium, characterized by its size, versatility and bright interiors, will begin next September.

This ambitious auditorium, with a capacity of 3,500 people and a 23m wide, 600m2 stage, will allow Seville to host large concerts and shows. In addition, the new venue has a 2.500m2 dining area, a 3.200m2 registration area, 18 versatile function rooms, equipped with the very latest in technology, for meetings and congresses, all based on a highly advanced sustainable model.
