The Seville Sevilla Congress & Bureau (SCCB), in collaboration with the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, has recently hosted a fam trip for top event planners from Madrid and Barcelona.
From the 8-9 November, Seville hosted a fam trip for some of the most outstanding meeting and event agencies in Madrid and Barcelona, who representatives travelled to the city so as to get to know the destination’s facilities and MICE professionals, with an eye to planning events there for their clients.
Major MICE players, including MCI/ Ovation, El Corte Ingles Eventos, Box de Ideas, Helmsbriscoe, About Events, Aim group, TA DMC, Smart Meetings/CWT, Abile, and Across Spain, participated in a professional workshop, organized by SCCB and also attended by a dozen of the CVB’s associated companies, and in an inspection tour of some of Seville’s most outstanding meeting and event venues and offerings.
The aforementioned companies, all with long track record in managing both national and international events, visited venues – Metropol Parasol, Real Alcazar, the Flamenco Museum, and the venue Tokio, among others – and participated in a number of activities, including a Segway tour of the city and boat trip on the Guadalquivir, tapas at Bodega Morales, haute cuisine at Robles Aljarafe, etc.
Hilton, the global hotel company, promotes its Hilton Garden Inn brand in Seville, where it continues to successfully develop its business, as can be seen from this initiative geared to showcasing its facilities and those of the destination for the benefit of the country’s top MICE professionals.
