For the 2nd year running, the Camilo Cano Sports Centre will be hosting the sports festival, which is scheduled to be held from 29-31 March 2013.
La Nucia Sport Xperience is a sports festival where people of all ages can learn, compete, watch exhibitions, shop, and a lot more. Combining sports with fun, the festival will include more than 10 different tournaments, 50 workshops, 10 educational talks, etc., and a recreational area with free admission for the general public.
La Nucia Sport Xperience will be held at the Camilo Cano Sports Centre, which has been named "European Town of Sports" by the European Union, thanks to more than 250,000sqm of facilities and the variety of sports and leisure activities available.
Located inland on the Costa Blanca, the town of La Nucia is a highly attractive destination, with a long history, deep-rooted traditions, and excellent cuisine. Furthermore, the town is only 5km away from the coves and beaches of the municipalities of Benidorm, Altea, Alfaz del Pi, and La Vila Joisa.
The festival will include tournaments, exhibitions, workshops, etc., both for children and adults, as well as a broad range of free parallel activities for the general public.
La Nucia Sport Xperience is organized by the town’s sports clubs. Thanks to their efforts to promote the town through sports, the festival has the support of 30 Valencian sports federations, in addition to several national and international federations.
Moreover, La Nucia Sport Xperience is also supported by the Regional Government and the provincial government of Alicante.
