Second Edition of Andalusian Cultural Industries Fair Scheduled for the Beginning of March

Trade professionals, entrepreneurs, public agencies, associations and members of the general public will be attending the 2nd edition of the Andalusian Cultural Industries Fair, due to be held at Seville’s Exhibition and Congress Centre (FIBES) from 5-7 March 2009. Designed as a trade forum, the event’s aim is to facilitate the marketing of cultural products and services that have a direct influence on strategic of great strategic importance, such as tourism, culture, communication, commerce, employment, and the economy in general.



Under the slogan Get out there: Marketing and Internationalization. Subsidies and Incentives for Cultural Industries, the current edition of the event will revolve around subsidy and incentive programmes for the cultural industries and their internationalization. Internet is the key to overcoming physical barriers and improving marketing strategies. Along these lines, experts from different markets – such as Brazil, Mexico, Chile, USA, Germany and Japan – will be sharing their expertise in a series of meetings. Likewise, the 2009 Catalogue of Subsidies, Incentives and Opportunities for Cultural Industries will be presented during the event, along with a number of marketing diagnostics programmes.



The fair will open from 10am-8pm on Thursday and Friday, and until 3pm on Saturday, which will include a leisure activity programme for the general public.
