From 17-18 June, 110 participants and experts attended the 21st edition of the Spain-USA Forum to discuss issues such as cyber security, the decarbonization of the economy, and the role played by culture in social and economic development.
This important annual event was attended by private and public sector leaders of both countries, who addressed issues of common concern: cyber security, the decarbonization of the economy, and the role played by cultural institutions in social and economic development.
This year’s edition of the forum was co-chaired by Jose Manuel Entrecanales, president of the Spain-USA Foundation Council, and by Senator Tim Kaine, chairman of the USA-Spain Council.
The following issues were broached during the two day event:
- Cyber security, cyber resistance and the fight against cyber offenses.
- The decarbonization of the economy: beyond the global commitment, an opportunity for economic growth.
- The role played by cultural institutions in social progress, global integration and economic development.
