
The low-cost carrier Ryanair will begin to operate flights out of its new hub at Malaga Airport – bringing the total of hubs that the airline has in Spain to five – on 22 June 2010.
The low-cost carrier Ryanair has just announced that it will be opening a new hub at Malaga Airport, with 19 new routes. The new hub, which will begin to operate on 22 June 2010, will create 200 direct jobs and offer 360 flights per week, some of which with the possibility of making same-day round trips.
The new destinations are Aarhus (Denmark), Bratislava (Slovakia), Eindhoven and Maastricht (Holland), Krakow and Wroclaw (Poland), Memmingen, in Munich, and Berlin (Germany), Oslo (Norway), Paris (France), Pisa and Venice (Italy), Stockholm and Goteborg (Sweden) and Tampere (Finland).
Likewise, Ryanair will also be operating flights out of Malaga Airport to four national destinations: Santiago de Compostela, Santander, Valladolid and Saragossa.
