Representatives of the British Tour Operator Golfbreaks.com Visit the Costa del Sol

A delegation of 60 travel agents from the British tour operator Golfbreaks.com visited the Costa del Sol from 18-20 May to get to know firsthand the province of Malaga’s golf courses.

Golfbreaks.com, which organised 110,000 golf trips in 2006, is the leading tour operator in Europe with 500 courses to choose from in the UK and Europe, 31 of which are located in Andalusia.

British Market
The UK is Andalusia’s main tourist market, and many are the British tourists that come to the region to play golf. In 2005, 27% of the 249,634 foreign tourists that visited Andalusia with the aim of playing golf came from the UK.
