Renewal of our accreditation by Cervantes Institute

Today, we have great news for all our students and business partners Instituto Mediterráneo

Sol! We can confirm the renewal of our accreditation by the Cervantes institute. This accreditation system is the only one existing at an international level for teaching Centres of Spanish as foreign language.



This renewal of the contract accrediting our school as ELE (Español como lengua extranjera =

Spanish as a foreign language) centre was signed last 31 July 2017 between Instituto Mediterráneo Sol S.U.R.L. and the Cervantes Institute and is valid until 31 July 2020.



What is the Cervantes institute accreditation for?

With this contract, we at IMSOL confirm our commitment to the quality of the teaching of Spanish as foreign language, offering our students and business partners the highest guarantee and standards concerning the content of our Spanish courses, facilities and additional services. This we have been doing consecutively since 2002, when we were accredited by the Cervantes Institute for the very first time.



As you all know, our school has 25 years of experience as an ELE teaching center, and the accreditation by the Cervantes institute demonstrates that the Spanish education we offer our clients meets the highest quality standards. This recognition implies that our teaching syllabus matches the Cervantes institute’s requirements and those of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, in order to guarantee homogeneity between the different Spanish teaching levels at all accredited centers.



It also implies our commitment to quality and continued improvement in all the services that we offer and in our internal organization.



It is also interesting to know that since 1999 Instituto Mediterráneo Sol has been receiving important accreditations from this sector, as for example the CEELE (quality certificate conferred by the University of Alcalá), which we received from 1999 until 2006.



We will continue working in order to maintain and improve our quality standards and to offer the best services for many years to come.
