As a tribute to its founder, GSAR Marketing has announced the "Ramon Alvarez In Memoriam Award", which will be given to an international institution or figure for their achievements and contribution to the MICE industry.
This award forms a part of the Excellences Awards whose ceremony will take place during FITUR, Madrid’s international tourism fair, which will attract outstanding personalities from the tourism and gastronomic industries.
Ramon Alvarez founded Convencotours and GSAR Marketing, both pioneering companies in the MICE market in Spain and worldwide. GSAR Marketing organizes the oldest international networking MICE trade shows – MITM Americas and MITM Euromed – in addition to CULTOURFAIR, a show specializing in cultural travel, of which 41 successful editions have been held to date in Europe and the Americas, as well as in the Caribbean.
